  3. So winter is winding down here. Does that mean fall is on the way there? Global warming brought snow to BsAs last winter. Did you bring your long underwear?

    65 here yesterday. Cloudy and showers today. Snow down to 2500′ tonite. Spring. Can’t make up its mind. I watched an Anna’s hummingbird build a nest outside the window in a leafless dogwood. Thought it early for that. And last evening, I saw the nest was in ruins. I suspect scrub jays, the avian bullys of this neighborhood. Alas, there is more than enough time to try again.

    Your education adventure sounds thrilling. And immersion is the answer. Only people who don’t agree are bilingual teachers who get paid extra to keep the immigrants on the farm. Too bad they control the process. And do obtain an accent…an Argentine accent. Have fun. We will keep reading…john and deb…
